About us

My name is Stacie Voice and I am a qualified and insured Therapeutic Counsellor, I am an accredited member of the National Counselling Society (NCPS) and adhere to their ethical framework for best practice.

I work in an integrative way, this means that I use a number of different techniques and elements from different therapy models, for example humanistic, cognitive behavioural therapy and solution focused. I offer a safe, confidential, non-judgemental, open and honest approach to counselling, along with a splash of creativity if desired.

As a counsellor it is my job to support you to make the changes you desire in order to improve your emotional wellbeing. This means that I will work with you to find a therapy style that suits you and your current needs. I cannot and will not tell you what to do, only you can make the changes.

I work with anyone over the age of 16 and have extensive experience of working with individuals who have experienced trauma, severe and enduring mental health illness, self-harming behaviours, suicidal behaviours or who experience intense episodes of mental health crisis.

In addition to this I also have extensive experience working with bereavement, anxiety, low self confidence, low mood and depression.

I believe that nobody should do it alone and that at times we all need someone who can walk beside us on our journey to positive emotional wellbeing.

Working in an integrative way means that I will use different techniques and elements from different therapy models, for example humanistic, cognitive behavioural therapy and solution focused to name a few.

I offer a safe non-judgemental space to explore issues that might be causing difficulties, in your life; whether you are feeling stuck or struggling with low mood and anxiety or have experienced trauma. Working together I believe we can recognise strengths and explore options to move forward in a positive way.

I have 18 years of extensive experience in working with children, young people and adults. With specific advanced training I specialise in trauma, bereavement, couples therapy, anxiety, neurodiversity along with working with children and young people and sexual violence.
